Forget about alternative fuels. Start thinking about alternative engineering. Let’s face it: our supply of fossil fuels is running out fast and our present day alternatives have major obstacles to overcome. For example, electric cars are becoming popular, especially with the high price of gas. However these cars need large and expensive batteries. I cannot imagine having all our transportation needs met by such a solution. What would we do with all these spent batteries?

Renewable forms of energy are not the answer either. Increasing ethanol production would help reduce our dependence on oil, but the day will come when we will have to choose between driving or eating. When that day comes, most people will choose to eat before they choose to drive their car to the mall. Wind, solar, and nuclear energy all have their strengths and weaknesses. So, what’s the answer?

Instead of looking for alternative fuels, we should start thinking about alternative engineering. We could combine our power grid with our transportation system. I’m envisioning an interstate highway system with power grids running underneath it. Our freeways would be rebuilt with an electrical track systems in the center of each lane. Our automobiles could be designed to attach and detach themselves to the electrical track system and powered by our underground power grid. Our automobiles would need dual power systems. One system for running on the power grid and the other system for running off the power grid. Off the power grid, any combination of fossil fuel or battery systems would work. This idea is not perfect, but our freeway driving would be powered by any combination of solar, wind, nuclear, and coal energy. The percent of fossil fuel used on the freeway would be eliminated. Leaving us with off grid driving needs to address.

This is the type of creative thinking that is needed to power our country into the 21st century.

The terms big and small are vague and an irrelevant description of government. To discuss the proper size of government, let’s replace the big and small government description with a functional and dysfunctional description. After all, isn’t a functional government what we all really want? Why would we want a dysfunctional government? How do we know when our government is too big or too small?

In my opinion, our government is getting too big when spending for the sake of spending occurs. When our Politicians have more money than what they need and, therefore, have to figure out ways to spend it. This is dysfunctional spending. Our government is getting too small when it stops meeting the needs of its people. For example, they say we can’t fund health care and education. These are things we all need to succeed in the modern day world. These are dysfunctional tax cuts.

Personally, I like to take the ’’Goldilocks” approach to the size of government. Not too big and not too small. I prefer to live in country where the size of the government is ’’just right”.

In the deep depths of darkness, hot gasses flow through cold empty space. These gasses start to swirl and condense over time, forming a liquid sphere along with a high-energy atmosphere. It is in these conditions where intelligent energy started to form and grow. As the intelligence grew and advanced, it became more aware of itself and lonesomeness started to set in. To end its isolation, it decided to subdivide and separate portions of itself. This separated energy was then polarized or separated by positive and negative energy, giving the universe its first individually separated entities or spiritual energy. The original intelligent energy or father of the universe, along with separated entities, began to subdivide themselves. This was the beginning of universal growth.

The universe began to grow into a state of perfection. A Garden of Eden. Peace and harmony ruled the universe at this stage of development. Three distinct groups started to develop during this period. The Father of the Universe, the descendants of the Father (Sons), and the descendants of the descendants (Holy angels). The spiritual peace and harmony did not last forever. A hierarchy started to developed. The descendants of the father had substantially more power and privileges than the Holy angels did. This did not please the lower ranked angels and the universes first experience with jealousy started to form. A high-ranking angel started to observe the growing dissatisfaction with the system and saw an opportunity to acquire power. He gathered the dissatisfied angels and convinced them that they could do better on their own. This deeply saddens and angered the father. No longer could the universe exist in peace and harmony. The need for expansion had arrived. With this need, the father caused the loose gasses and liquid hydrogen to contract until fusion started due to the enormous weight and pressures of the various forms of hydrogen and other gasses. Thus, a universal star was born.

This universally proportionate, colossal sized star was the beginning of light and the start of the physical universe. The sheer size that was involved with this hot blue star caused it to burn rapidly. The high temperature and enormous pressures caused this star to explode into a massive supernova. This giant supernova scattered an astronomical amount of hot gasses and dark matter over millions of light years in previously empty space. This temporarily blackened the universe once again, until a new wave of stars started to form in the nebulas created by the universes big bang. Now, the universe has occupied space, time, good and evil, light and dark matter. All in its infancy. All evolving into something new and different.

The next wave of stars was small in comparison to the universal star, but enormous in comparison to the size of today’s stars. These hot blue jumbo’s also burned relatively fast and eventually exploded. Like all explosions, the large, heavy rock core of these stars remained close to the stars center point. The gravitational pull of the rock and dark matter reformed a heavy new center, causing the surrounding gasses and dust to orbit around it. This is what eventually formed the present galaxies in our universe.

One of the galaxies to form was our Milky Way. The gasses, dust and dark matter orbited around the reformed center of our former galactic star, creating similar conditions that formed the universe. Those conditions allowed pioneering universal intelligence to grow and expand beyond the universes center. Meanwhile, smaller stars started to form in the orbiting hot gasses and debris. For the first time in the universe’s history, the stars were small and cool enough for the development of organic matter (within the small number of stars with the right conditions).

One of the stars with all the right conditions was our own sun. Not only did our solar system have the right conditions for organic matter, but it also had the right conditions for universal intelligence.

In the beginning of our solar system, gasses condensed from the swirling solar winds within a local star-forming nebula. A liquid hydrogen sphere was formed over time. This liquid sphere increased in size and weight. As the weight increased, space debris consisting of dust, rock, ice and gasses began to orbit around the liquid sphere. The larger pieces of rock began to collect the dust, ice, and smaller pieces of rock. Like a giant snowball rolling down a steep slope, the space balls began to grow.

Eventually, the enormous pressures in the liquid gas sphere started the fusion process. A new star was born. Gradually, the new star began to build up heat, melting the ice in the space balls orbiting around it. The third space ball from the center had collected a large amount of ice during the time it had spent orbiting the liquid sphere.

With solar heat now coming from the sun, the rock began to sink, forming a molten core. The melting water began to rise to the surface, creating a planet covered with water. Now the earth had the right conditions for evolution. Dormant seeds of life, implanted in the frozen dark matter (from the universal star), began to grow. Atoms formed molecules, molecules form cells, cells formed simple creatures and simple creatures grew more complex. As the sea creatures began to grow, tectonic plates in the earth’s crust began to override each other. Vegetation and life began to evolve in the lands trapped water. Eventually, parts of the earth were covered with lush green forests and jungles. Over millions of years, large and small mammals started to populate the earth and the rest is known history.

This story is meant to be a thought-provoking story. It combines spiritual creativity with the logic of science. We limit our thinking when we limit our logic without creativity. Creative thinking could make a big difference in our world.
